The Return of the Verse of the Week

Partly due to our travels this summer, partly due to our current family situation, but mostly because I had fallen out of the habit of memorizing Bible verses, I have not posted a "Verse of the Week" in quite a while.

Well, we are back. [Well, Tyra is still not back, but we are seeing some signs that the end is near.]

Here it is:

"Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go." --God (Joshua 1:7)

If I had been living by this verse over the last few months, I would have saved myself, my family and a few other people a great deal of heartache.

We must remember to always live by the Word of God, to let it be our guide, to always measure what we are hearing from Him by what He has already revealed. If we will, we can be assured of God going with us, which is what defines us as His followers.
