Junction Creek

This summer we had our Third Annual Colorado Camping Trip. I only say it like that because I always have such a great time and I hope we will continue to go every summer. Everyone was able to go this year and we had a wonderful week. We weren't sure how long our family would be able to stay, since we didn't know how Desta would handle the major change in her routine. She enjoyed herself and even slept well in our tent. I love summer camping and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite Tillman family traditions. The cousins started getting dirty the minute we arrived. Yes, there were a few injuries on the wild hammock rides. :)

TERI!

It's so great when your sister-in-law turns into a really good friend. I'm so grateful for Teri and that we live close enough to live life together. She is a great blessing to me and my family. We love her! Happy Birthday Teri!

12 Days of Christmas Tragedy

My boys and Uncle Todd have been working on a skit for the Christmas Celebration at our church. The three of them acted out a very active and sometimes slightly dangerous version of the 12 Days of Christmas. It was a total hit and was fall out of your seat HILARIOUS! (The picture is during the rehearsal . . . the partridge in a pear tree.)

The tragedy was that it was not recorded for your viewing pleasure! We will all be together this weekend and I'm hoping to have them do an encore performance. And my camera will be ready!

Tillman Family Fun

We weren't sure if we were going to be able to get the whole Tillman Fam together this summer. Fortunately, we were able to swing a camping trip to Haviland Lake in Southern Colorado (north of Durango) for Father's Day weekend. It turned out to be one of my favorite vacations of all time! We had perfect weather and were able to cool down some in those magnificent pine trees.

I'm back in picture taking mode but I'll try to only share a few of the hundreds of pictures that I took on our trip. : )

Aiden is always on the move.

The whole gang: Austin, Teri, Grandma, Tasha, Kason, Grant, Andrew, Papa, Aiden (the top of his head anyway : ), Jack, Bobby and Todd.

Mountain Biking

Aiden is playing hide and seek with Daddy taking the picture.

Austin's sweet smile.

Cousin Kason enjoying the trail.

Andrew attacking the road.
This was probably my favorite part of the trip! Tasha brought her bike with a baby seat on the back. Aiden and I took tons of trips around the campground and several longer trips on trails through the pine trees. It was soothing to my soul.
