Easter

"For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God."

I love Easter. Admittedly, I've been a little distracted this year and unable to do some of the things we normally do to prepare for the special day. However, we still had a wonderful day of celebrating Jesus with our family.

We have some Tillman traditions that have evolved into very serious business, although they have little to do with the real meaning of the holiday. Egg decorating and egg hunting among them. This year we only decorated five dozen eggs, since my sister and her family couldn't be with us. The Easter bunny "hopped" early that morning hiding the 60 eggs including one "prize egg" worth $20 cash left on the table.

Here are the egg hunting participants crowding at the starting line:

Aunt Teri was the big winner this year, finding the prize egg duct taped underneath the entertainment center in the living room.

(We have a doctor's appt. today at 1:30 . . . hopefully we will discuss options to coax the baby out!)
