Aiden gives Paul a high-five for all of his hard work!
We recently had another Buy Shoes Save Lives party. Most of our inventory of shoes from Iraq have tiny nails in the toe and heel of the shoe. The nails just serve as extra support for durability of the shoe, as far as anyone can tell. Since we Americans wear our shoes indoors on tile and carpet, unlike Middle Easterners . . . unlike most of the world actually, the nails are an unwanted addition. So the nails need to be taken out, before they are shipped to folks here in the U.S.
Thank you to everyone who gave their Saturday night, and sacrificed their fingers : ), to help us pull some nails! Brian, Liane, Michael, Caleb, Cameron, Paul, Natalie, Kay, Carrie, Cody, Mason and Regina, we appreciate you!!
